Loving your neighbor as yourself can apply to today’s climate of political polarization.
It is easier to be calm when you are surrounded by like-minded people. However, there may be strong divisions with those who have opposing viewpoints. If we think of those on the other side of the political fence as enemies, it can be tempting to hide out with people in our echo chamber who think and feel as we do or be tempted to engage in furious social media arguments over politics.
